Why I started Dibbles Nibbles
After working for many many years in the hospitality industry, then on to the private care sector, I decided enough was enough and that I wanted more of a happy work/life balance. Especially after the birth of my son. So, I started brainstorming ideas.

What am I passionate about? what will provide me with a better way of living?

My dogs! That was my only recurring thought. I'm most passionate about my dogs.
​
So, what to do? Dog walking? dog sitting? Work for someone else again?
​
One of my dogs, Zahara has a very sensitive digestion. I've spent a good while perfecting what she has to eat everyday. She also LOVES to chew!!! So I started researching the best treats and chews, and I landed upon the natural dog treat world!

The Dibbles Nibbles initial idea spark was born!

So, I had an idea. Was is doable? Absolutely! Now I needed a name. I lost my soul dog, Cleo last year, and all I knew was that I wanted this to be her lasting paw print beside me. For her to still be able to jointly walk this new road with me, firmly by my side.
Now, not much came to mind for a name whilst playing around with Cleo. Cleopatra..... Screams dog treats doesn't it?!
Instead I thought back to all those ridiculous nicknames I would call her. Which she would always duly answer to. Whilst there were many, many names - Scoobs, Stubs, Nibs, Jiblets, Dibs, Donkey. To name but a few. The ones that immediately stuck out were Nibs, and Dibs.
Quick play with those and DIBBLES NIBBLES was born!!! And the rest is history.
